Tascam FW-1082
The TASCAM FW-1082 Audio/MIDI Interface renders its users a whole lot of audio and MIDI I/O to small studios, and also provides a control surface with moving-faders for a very unbelievably low price. Included are MIDI inputs and outputs plus S/PDIF digital I/O. It has four microphone inputs, two with analog insert jacks, very suitable for professional condenser microphones.
Four encoders are also presented for mix control and also transport and jog/shuttle controls. It also has a built-in stereo monitoring technology, and the FW-1082 even mixes signals internally for stand-alone use.
