Wah Pedal
The Wah Pedal was accidentally created in 1966 after a circuit redesign for a Vox amp didn't go exactly as planned.
What eventuated was a sound that had instant appeal to the electric engineers, prompting them to file a patent for the unique effect. Since then, the Wah has become a popular mainstream with artists such as Jimi Hendrix, Dimebag Darrell & John Frusciante.
