Chorus Pedal
The Chorus brings to the stage a bunch of imaginary guitars, all singing the same tune as you. It adds warmth and depth, making your sound fuller and more 'present'.
Using a slightly detuned and delay effect, it produces a doubling effect, giving a more thicker and more delicious tone. Think of adding EXTRA chocolate sauce to your chocolate pudding, and you get the idea. It's rich man, real rich.
Originally produced by the BOSS CE-1 Chorus Ensemble (which is still a KILLER pedal), and made popular in the Police by Andy Summers, it has grown in popularity to become one of the ESSENTIAL pedals of any guitarists bag of tricks.
